Our Accommodation

A Private, exclusive ‘guest house’ of sorts, where you can relax in the heart of Castelbuono. It’s our family home, and we have some beautiful guest rooms for you to enjoy…

Our residence is a unique place in Castelbuono - part of a former 16th Century monastery and one of the oldest buildings in town after the castle! You can see the old maps of the town at the castle museum.

Guests can choose from The Cardinal’s Chamber - a grand bedroom suite or for a more relaxed / cosy experience, The Monk’s Retreat. A luxury private bathroom awaits…

If you are a first-time visitor to Castelbuono we can help make your stay truly memorable by suggesting local places of interest, seasonal events or even by arranging personalised experiences

Between us we speak several languages including English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and some German, so communication will not be a problem.

Castelbuono is just 13km from the coast - the Tyrrhenian Sea - and surrounded by hills and mountains in the Madonie National Park. You are never far from a beautiful country walk, a mountain hike, a relaxing beach or a hilltop town.

We offer somewhere comfortable to sleep and recover your senses. Castelbuono is full of great places to enjoy the local food, so we do not get involved with that! We can make recommendations and reservations for you.

We have recently made improvements to the accommodation, and while honouring the traditional elements of the architecture we have brought contemporary touches to make your stay comfortable.

Castelbuono is a small town of under 8000 permanent population, however it packs a big punch when it comes to culture, events and festivals - there’s always something interesting going on. See our events page for more details

Sicily remains a somewhat secret destination, avoiding the mass tourism of Spain and France. As the largest island in the Mediterranean - a ‘country-sized’ island if you will, it offers a lot of space to find yourself in, away from the crowds.

For first-time Sicily visitors, Castelbuono is a great base to explore from. Just an hour’s drive from Palermo airport and a stones-throw from the (too) popular seaside resort of Cefalù. You can enjoy sea, mountains and culture in abundance.
